MaidBiz Affiliate Program Terms
Text under review: this document is a draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It may change before it takes effect.
1. The program
MaidBiz is management software for cleaning businesses. This program lets you refer MaidBiz and, if you follow these terms, earn a commission on referrals that become paying customers.
You take part as an independent person. Taking part does not make you an employee, partner, legal representative or agent of MaidBiz.
2. Mandatory disclosure of the affiliate relationship
Every time you promote MaidBiz, in any medium, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you have an affiliate relationship, that is, that you may earn a commission (a “material connection”). This follows the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) Endorsement Guides, 16 CFR Part 255, and applies to audiences outside the US as well.
The disclosure must sit with the promotion, before the link or code, in plain language and in the language of the message. Hiding it in a bio, on a separate page, among hashtags or behind a “see more” doesn't count. In video, say it and show it on screen; in audio, say it. Example: “I'm a MaidBiz affiliate and may earn a commission if you sign up through my link.”
Anyone who doesn't disclose may have codes paused, commissions held for review, or the affiliate account closed.
3. Conduct
You may not promise or suggest earnings, profit or results that MaidBiz doesn't guarantee; say you are MaidBiz or speak on its behalf; use the brand in a misleading way; or send spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
Paid ads that use the MaidBiz name or imitate its website require written authorization.
4. Self-referral and fake accounts
You may not use your own code or link to sign up your own company, or that of family members or partners, or create fake accounts to generate commissions. The system checks signals such as the same user, the same company and the same email or domain.
Suspicious referrals may be held for review and do not count toward your payable balance while the review lasts.
5. Commission
The commission follows the rule in force at the moment the referral is attributed. It is only generated after the referred customer makes a real payment: signing up, a free trial or using a coupon does not, by itself, generate a commission.
If the payment that generated the commission is refunded or reversed, the corresponding commission may also be reversed, even if it is already in your balance.
MaidBiz may change the commission rule for future referrals. Referrals already attributed keep the rule from when they were attributed.
6. How a referral is attributed
A referral is attributed through the link or the code the person uses when signing up. A click on a link is valid for 90 days. A code typed at signup takes priority over a saved click. In case of doubt, MaidBiz decides.
7. Payouts and payments
You request a payout in the dashboard, one currency at a time. First you must accept these terms, register your payout details and, if required, have your tax form received. Each request is reviewed manually and payment is made outside the system, by the method you registered. MaidBiz may refuse a request that violates these terms.
You are responsible for taxes on what you receive. The dashboard does not collect tax identification numbers (such as SSN, EIN or equivalent).
8. Tax form
Depending on the country and the amount, MaidBiz may ask for a tax form (for example W-9 or W-8) through a separate channel, never through this dashboard. While it is required and has not been received, payouts may be blocked.
9. Your data
We use the application and dashboard data to review, run and pay the program. Payout details are stored encrypted and are only opened by authorized staff, with each access logged. See also the MaidBiz Privacy Policy.
10. Ending and changes
You can stop taking part at any time. MaidBiz may pause codes, hold commissions under review or close the affiliate account if these terms are broken, or end the program.
We may update these terms. When the version changes, you will need to accept again to create extra codes and request payouts.
