What is MaidBiz?

MaidBiz is a scheduling, client management, and invoicing app built for cleaning businesses — solo cleaners and small crews.

It runs in the browser and installs as an app on a phone (PWA), so a cleaner in the field and an owner at the kitchen table can both use it without extra software.

How many user roles does MaidBiz have?

MaidBiz has two account-level roles: Admin (also called Owner) and Cleaner. A person can belong to more than one organization, with one role per organization.

Separately, when a cleaner is scheduled on a specific job, they can also be assigned a job role — Regular, Driver, or Supervisor — which sets their pay rate for that job. A job role controls pay, not what a person can see or do in the app; a cleaner can't be scheduled with a job role that has no pay rate configured.

What can an Admin do that a Cleaner can't?

An Admin sees and manages everything: pricing, invoices and payments, business settings, team management, pay rates, and internal notes about a client that are never shown to a Cleaner.

A Cleaner only sees their own scheduled jobs for the day ("Today"), the client's address, and the job instructions — and Cleaner is the only role that can clock in and out at a job site. An Admin never clocks in.

What features does MaidBiz include?
